Opinion on Kandi

Kandi, a wonderful part of the rave scene :). Now theres a time and place for kandi, i'm not saying you should kandi up for work but in rave culture i happen to LOVE it. Jewelry and accessories will always be part of fashion and like any scene, the rave scene is about fashion as well and expressing oneself with color, textures, and any outfit you may need.

Making the kandi is half the fun, you get friends together, good tunes, some beer or wine and wings and snacks and make lovely bracelets, hand cuffs, masks, or even covers for daily items :)

During a giant event like rave, sometimes meeting people can be so overwhelming but with Kandi its a great ice breaker, you walk up to someone who beautiful colors caught your eye, stick up a peace sign! and away the trade goes, from there is the name, reason your there, where your from, how sick the music is going, and then deep conversations and friendships for life. All these experiences from a bracelet.

I feel like wearing Kandi is a symbol of equality, of happiness, about love, respect, and being diffrent and wierd and marching to the beat of your own drum, not taking the path paved for you but making your own path, doesnt matter if your a guy or girl or 16 or 40 kandi is an equalizer for a moment it symbolizes one thing. PLUR love.
